British Association of Removers
In addition to our quality standards and awards, we are also proud members of the British Association of Removers (BAR). The BAR is the leading trade association for the removals industry. Founded in 1900 the BAR has been promoting professional excellence and standards in the house removals industry for over a century. The BAR uphold a Code of Practice that is approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute. Our annual inspection ensures we maintain the highest levels of consumer service and abide by the Association’s standards.
As a member of the British Association of Removers each of our house moves is protected with the Advanced Payment Guarantee. The BAR protects any deposit or pre-payments for all private residential removal and storage contracts. For additional peace of mind the British Association of Removers also provide a dispute resolution scheme.
Highly Trained Movers
Moving your entire house and home is no easy job. It takes skill, passion, and teamwork. This is why we have, arguably, the most rigorous and broad training regimes of any removal company. Each member of staff completes an in-depth induction programme in addition to a DBS check, but their training does not stop there. Our staff continue to develop through our on-going monthly training scheme. This means our staff learn the latest developments in the house moving industry, enhance their moving skills and bond as a removals and storage team.
