Leading Removal Company in Kent – Wealdon Advertiser Property South East

Like Father,Like Son – Fast Movers

If you don’t live in the Tenterden, the Woodchurch or the Cranbrook areas you will not be lucky enough to have received a copy of the Wealdon Advertiser Property South East. This means you will have missed a great article last week on a fantastic removal company – Us! Colin Batt Removals were very pleased to be interviewed for the lead article on page 2 and hope it once again shows that we are the leading removal company in Kent. Check out the link below.

We have been moving people from the Weald of Kent from the very beginning, as the business was first established in Bethersden in 1978. Since then we have moved to Challock but continue to serve all our loyal customers in Smarden, Woodchurch and Cranbrook. Be that piano removals for the Period Piano Company, Biddenden or storage for Tenterden Golf Club. Since the start Colin worked hard to build and nurture the company’s reputation. Simon, his son, now has the honour of running the firm and the responsibility of building on the great reputation his father developed. Simon has rejoined Colin Batt Removals after flying in the RAF. His military service has seen him operate Jaguars, instruct on Hawks and most recently he has been flying Typhoons (Eurofighter). Follow the link to find out more.

We look forward to continuing our association with the Wealdon Advertisor and so look out for future articles and top tips on moving. In the meantime if you have any questions or queries about moving house give us a call and we’ll do all we can to help.

Easing the Burden of moving!

Debbie Burden has joined our moving team as our new Office Manager. She has a wealth of experience in administration and customer support and is ready to help all our home movers.

I look forward to helping all our customers with their moving needs. I know that the moving house is stressful and I aim to assist everyone from their first phone call to us.

Kristie is moving on as she has a special delivery of her own – her baby is due in May! We wish her all the best at this really exciting time and look forward to seeing all the photos.

Debbie and Kristie have worked together for the last month and now Debbie is taking over the reins. She is ready and waiting to organise any of your moving needs….. just give her a call.

Removal lorry gets a make-over!

Our latest removal lorry and newest addition to our vehicle fleet has had a make-over – ready for the new year! Our removal lorry was originally green all over and affectionately known as ‘The Hulk’, he is now resplendent in Colin Batt Removals blue and white colours. We have added our moving icons, the BAR affiliation logo, our new QR scan code and a special stamp that recognises our piano moving excellence, when we moved the Beethoven Forte Piano on its European Tour.

All of us here at Colin Batt Removals pride ourselves on the quality of our service. This pride and attention to detail starts with how we look and the equipment we use. It is important to us that our equipment is in the best working order and is always clean, it reflects on our attitude and how we will look after your home move. We are therefore really pleased to have “The Hulk” back showing off a new paint scheme which reflects all our values.

We have several vehicles in our fleet from large purpose built 18T removals lorries, designed to take up to 5 of our storage containers with side access to all, to our van which is great for small moves and taking pianos across Kent and London. Each one is a part of our team, and this is why we affectionately name all our vehicles. Our current theme we use for names is cartoon characters, such as Coyote, Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. When you see us out and about in Kent and London ask our team who they are driving today.

Our newest removal lorry is now smart and ready to go for any of your house moving requirements!

Removal Team hits the bowling alley at Christmas!

The Colin Batt Removals Christmas Party was at Ashford Bowling this year. The ‘King Pin’ of the night was our very own removals Manager Andrew Urquhart. The youngest member of our team Jordan Harris went home with the award for ‘Most Stylish’ Bowler and the owner Simon Batt stole the prize for ‘Funniest Bowler’!! Steve Billson – our retired foreman – joined us for the night but unfortunately went home with the wooden spoon!
