Why BAR? BAR companies are all inspected regularly to ensure that their services and facilities remain up to standard. They have fair contract conditions, an approved code of practice, approved insurance cover, use environmentally friendly packing materials and offer you access to the BAR conciliation and arbitration service. In the unlikely event that an unforeseen problem arises, customers of BAR companies also have access to Careline, an insurance provided to customers to help them deal with emergencies that might arise during the first three months of occupancy. It covers emergency accommodation, legal advice, breakdowns or accidents, even burst pipes.
Code of Practice · We will be honest and fair in all our dealings with our customers and the general public. · We will provide a clear description of the work we are to carry out, and what preparation the customer undertakes to do, and base our quotation on this. · We will ensure that all our staff are courteous, competent, and committed to providing a high standard of service. · We will provide all the materials and equipment necessary for the professional execution of your removal. · We will comply with all the requirements of membership specified by the British Association of Removers. · We will do our utmost to fulfil our obligations under this Code of Practice. Should we fail to do so, we will always receive complaints courteously and, if they are justified, take prompt and effective action to put the matter right. |
