Additional services for a stress-free move

Moving home is stressful enough without worrying about who’s doing what and when on the big day. At Colin Batt Removals we offer a number of services that can help reduce your stress levels.

Valet service:

The last thing you want to think about on the day of your move is making sure your house is left clean for the new owners. You already need to get the children, pets (and spouse!) organised and ready to leave and take the keys to the estate agent. You have to make sure the money has been transferred, pick up the new keys and get to your new house ready for the exciting part – moving into your new home.

If that sounds enough to be worrying about for one day then let us clean the old house while you concentrate on more important matters, like getting the cat in the cat basket! We use all our own equipment and cleaning products – and we can clean your new property too, if it needs it.

Packing:

Organising a move is rarely easy, particularly if you are working and have a family to look after. Packing the contents of your entire house in your spare time really isn’t fun, particularly when your children ‘help’ by unpacking the boxes as fast as you pack them.

Colin Batt Removals offers a comprehensive packing service that caters for your individual needs. You might just need a little bit of help and want someone to come in for four hours (on average we could pack the kitchen in that time) or you might just prefer us to get on and pack all your possessions.

As you would expect, we only use specially designed packing materials supplied to us through the BAR.

Unpacking Service:

For one reason or another (families and jobs spring to mind) you might not be able to unpack your possessions and install them in your new home – but we can.

We can unpack and unwrap all your things and get your new home set up for you, either on the day you move or at a time that’s convenient to you. We also dispose of or recycle all the boxes and packing material.
